Looking for a little gross humor at San Diego Comic-Con? Well, Topps® has you covered with exclusive offerings of Garbage Pail Kids® and Wacky Packages® stickers and trading cards.
The event starts on July 8 and runs through July 12 with fans being able to find the Topps-exclusive goodies at Atomic Toybox Entertainment at booth #3921.
Topps is celebrating 30 years of the icky, gross and laugh-out-loud characters from the Garbage Pail Kids. Part of the fun will include exclusive content at SDCC with Garbage Pail Kids 30th Anniversary Foreign Legion stickers.
GPK was published around the world in the 1980s under different names such as Bukumi Kun in Japan and The Garbage Gang in the UK. Now, five characters – Adam Bomb, Nasty Nick, Ashcan Andy, Potty Scotty and New Wave Dave – will get 10 different jumbo stickers (5-by-7 inches) made of them showcasing the global fun.
The oversized stickers set, which are sold by character, will be available for $20. There is limited quantity of just 400 copies of each character set.
Regular-sized Foreign Legion stickers will be found in the GPK 30th Anniversary Series, which releases July 8, along with other surprises.
Wacky Packages® sticker cards has parodied iconic brands since its inception in 1967. This time around, no cereal is safe with Foulball Flakes and Snoot Loops cards making their debut.
Topps is offering a set of five 5x7 postcards with one exclusive new subject at San Diego Comic Con, which was written by the late artist Bhob Stewart. There are just 300 sets available for $20 each.
Stewart was an editor at Topps in the 1960s and ‘70s, and was part of the team that worked on Wacky Packages, Bazooka Joe® comic strips and more.
