ABOUT PLAYER PORTRAIT POSTER SHOP
The Topps Vault has been unlocked, releasing hundreds of never-before-seen player portraits to the market. All aspects of these portraits are designed to preserve the authenticity of the original image. This authenticity extends through to the manufacturing process, as each print is manufactured in the United States using sophisticated digital technology to capture a level of detail that is absolutely breathtaking.
Catfish Hunter struck what was a standard pose for Topps photographers in Alameda County Stadium in the early stages of 1973. Hunter was coming off a 21-7 year, and backed it up by going 21-5 with a 3.34 ERA - the third of what would ultimately be five straight 20-win seasons.
