In 1982, Steven Spielberg's "E.T. The Extra-Terrestial" debuted in movie theatres. The movie revolved around a little alien stranded in suburbia when his spaceship left without him, and the youngsters he befriends who help the alien in his quest to return home. Elliot helps E.T. "phone home" across the galaxy, and an alien spaceship returns to Earth to pickup E.T. A then 7 year-old Drew Barrymore starred as Gertie, Elliot's sister who also befriends and helps E.T. In 1982, Topps issued our "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial Movie Photo Card Set" consisting of 87 cards and 12 stickers.
