This year marks Topps' 25-year Anniversary of interacting with Lucasfilm to bring Star Wars related Cards and Stickers to the public. Our February Flashback salutes our 1977 Star Wars Card Set # 1 while simultaneously previewing our Attack Of The Clones Card Set, which will be in stores this April. In the summer of 1977, movie-goers flocked to theatres to repeatedly view Star Wars' intergalactic "good versus evil" plot and the movie's spectacular special effects. Princess Leia is held hostage by Darth Vader and the Empire in their effort to subdue the Rebel forces. Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, and droids R2-D2 and C-3PO band together to free the princess. Guided by "the Force," Luke Skywalker leads the attack against the Empire's Death Star. That same summer, Topps released our Star Wars Card Set # 1, which contained 66 Cards and 11 Stickers.

Look for our Attack Of The Clones Card Set # 1 to be in-stores this April. Our Clones Set will contain 100 Regular Cards, printed on Premium Stock, Silver Foil-Stamped, and covered with a Glossy Coating. Our Set will also contain 10 Silver Foilboard Cards, 8 Prismatic Foilboard Cards, and 5 Panoramic Fold-out Cards.
