Please note, The Topps Company is not responsible for lost or misdirected mail. Any cards, products, or other material you value must be sent in a manner that proof of delivery is available if necessary. Mailings over 25 cards are randomly replaced.
I opened a box of your product and didn't get insert cards as stated on the packs. Is there anything you can do?
We are sorry to hear about the problems you encountered in finding our insert cards. We understand that finding inserts in packs of cards is one of the most exciting factors in card collecting. The odds stated reflect the odds across the entire print run.
Therefore, there is no guarantee that the number of boxes purchased will result in an exact number of insert cards.
I purchased a complete factory set, but I'm missing some cards.
We are able to replace any Official Complete Set from the current year. Sets for the previous year will be replaced only as long as supplies last. If the missing or damaged cards total less than 25 cards, please make a list of numbers and send it to us along with the bar code. If the cards total more than 25, it is necessary to send back the entire set for replacement.
Am I guaranteed a set if I purchase a specific amount of boxes?
Display boxes are not manufactured to guarantee a complete set by purchasing a specific number of boxes.
How can I complete a set of cards?
A hobby store can help you find individual cards. Weekend card shows are another popular way to visit a lot of dealers at one time. Your local paper may list those in your area.
How can I buy sports cards?
Topps makes its cards available to retailers and hobby stores, as well as traditional newsstand/candy store operations. We don't sell directly to retail customers.
Does Topps sell older cards?
No. Topps has no involvement in older cards or the secondary market. Topps only sells each year's new card sets.
What are the production figures for autograph cards?
Topps does not release production run figures.
I'm a customer with Topps and I need information on ordering or I need to find out when my order shipped.

How long has Topps been making trading cards?
After starting as a gum company in 1938, Topps added trading cards in 1950 to try and enhance gum sales.
That year, Hopalong Cassidy and Frank Buck "Bring 'em Back Alive" cards were issued.
The following year, the first baseball cards were published.
What happened to Topps Gum?
Topps Gum was eventually replaced by Bazooka Bubble Gum (born 1947), now one of America's most recognized products.
Why did you take out the bubble gum from cards?
We received numerous complaints from collectors that the gum was either staining the cards, or creating an impression in them, sacrificing their "mint condition." We eliminated the gum in 1991.
How much time does it take to create a set of cards?
From conception to store delivery can be a six-month process, not including the continuing process of photography.
How does the production process work?
Everything from quality of board stock to selection of printing process and artistic design is well thought out. The cards are printed on large sheets, in most cases covered with a distinct UV coating, and then cut, collated, wrapped, boxed and shipped.
Can I buy stock in Topps?
Topps is publicly traded on the NASDAQ exchange. (Symbol - TOPP).
